COMMERCIAL LAW, ADMINISTRATION OF CLAIMS
We provide complex legal services, from the founding of a company to the administration and debt recovery. We also provide the monitoring of debtors of our clients, extrajudicial debt recovery, judicial debt recovery, representation of clients as entitled subjects in enforcement proceedings.
TRADEMARKS, DESIGNS, UTILITY MODELS, PATENTS
We review the ability of trademarks, designs, patents and utility models to be registered in national and international registers by means of elaboration of search summaries. We prepare proposals and represent clients in all proceedings before the Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic and international authorities.
COOPERATING OFFICES
Our law office currently provides the representation of clients in industrial property rights agenda, especially in the proceedings of trademark registration, with the help of our cooperating offices in all European countries, the USA, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, India and China. The cooperating offices also offer our clients services by registration proceedings of utility models in particular European and Asian countries. If needed, we can also arrange the representation in any other country.
AUTHORIZATION OF A CONTRACT BY ATTORNEY
Our clients can arrange all legal acts needed to the transfer of real property promptly and easily in our office. Besides the drawing up of the contract, they can also use contract authorization and sign the contract without the need of notarisation of their signatures. By contracts authorized by the attorney, the land register administration only reviews the fact if proceeding conditions for the registration of property ownership have been met. Therefore they decide on the authorisation of the registration already within 20 days (instead of 30) from the date of the delivery of the registration proposal.
BANKRUPTCY AND RESTRUCTURING PROCEEDINGS
Since May 2011 JUDr. Marian Pataj has been registered in the register of bankruptcy and restructuring administrators. Besides his statutory obligations of the administrator in bankruptcy proceedings, restructuring proceedings, the administrator also prepares restructuring reports and carries out other legal acts defined by the law. We offer our clients the option of qualified legal representation in bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings, in which they exercise their claims as creditors.

We assist in the registration in Slovakia as well as abroad, represent in all proceedings before the Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic, EUIPO in Alicante, WIPO in Geneva, we represent in court proceedings against the infringement of intellectual property rights including cases of unfair competition.

We provide complex legal services regarding real property, draw up agreements on the transfer of real property, donation agreements, agreements on establishment of easement, agreements on the cancellation and settlement of the co-ownership.

We provide complex legal services within the protection of software and databases copyright, we draw up individual copyright agreements, agreements on the creation of work, licence agreements and licence conditions for the use of your products.
